Racing Details

On Race days, registration and practice will begin at 10am and end at 11am. Races start at 12noon.  The registration fee for a day of racing is $8. This includes 3 regular motos, plus any main event qualifiers that may be needed.  The fee for practice is $3 on race day if not registering to race.  Current NBL membership is required in order to register to race.

NBL License

• NBL membership required (Full = $45 per year or Trial = $30 for 30 days)
• Parent or guardian signature required
• Bring copy of birth certificate
• Family discounts available
• Equipment

Equipment

• Helmet that cover ears (full face or helmet with mouth guard)
• There will be a limited number of BMX helmets available for rent at the track
• Long sleeve shirt and long pants required
• 20" BMX or 24" Cruiser
• Operating brake on rear wheel
• Pads on top tube, handlebar crossbar, and stem (recommended)

Race Format

• Riders compete by age ( 5 and under through 45 and older)
• Proficiency class (Rookie, Novice, Expert, Pro)
• Gender
• Each rider races 3 motos minimum
•       and race a qualifier or main event if there are more than 6 riders in a class

Prohibited

• Drop style handlebars
• Kick Stands
• Chain Guards
• Reflectors
• Freestyle Pegs or axles

Practice

Sanctioned gate practice will be held from 5pm to dusk on Wednesdays.

Check the schedule on the Race/Event Calendar page, since there can be exceptions.

The practice fee will be $3 and you must have a current NBL membership in order to practice.  Forms will be available at the track on practice and race days to sign up or renew expired licenses.

All regular race required safety gear is required for practice.  No exceptions!
